Anyone who’s followed me for very long knows sales and I have a rocky history. This one is different, though. As I explained to my husband last night, this is not a knee-jerk reaction to my AMS ads sucking the life out of me or my KU page reads falling to almost non-existent or even because my sales have been dismal.
Nope. It’s none of those things.
This sale is because 1) it’s Mother’s Day weekend in the United States and the central theme of all my stories is family, and the people that keep those families together and strong are the moms in my books. 2) it’s because today marks 13 years since my own Nana passed away and, if you’ve read the first book, you’ll remember the book opens with Stella having a conversation with her grandmother about boys and life. That’s not a coincidence (I don’t believe in them). I had a lot of conversations with my grandmother over the years that I had her here with me, and rarely was a lesson not learned.
